Terms of Service

Effective Aug 7, 2026

Service

Recastly plans, schedules, and publishes social media content through connected platform accounts. Work is organised into businesses. A business holds its own channels, posts, members, and settings, and may be run by one person or by several.

Accounts And Businesses

Account holders are responsible for keeping their sign-in secure, granting access only to the people and agents they intend to give it to, and matching each grant to what it should be able to do — a role for each member, a scope for each API key.

Platform Rules

Content published through Recastly is subject to the terms, policies, and developer rules of every social platform it is published to. Recastly may hold, reject, or remove publishing actions that appear to violate platform requirements or product safety controls.

Content

Account holders remain responsible for content they create, upload, schedule, or publish through Recastly, including media rights, claims, disclosures, and localization accuracy.

Deletion

An account can be deleted in Settings. Deleting an account that is the sole owner of a business with other members is refused until either another member holds the Owner role or that business itself is deleted. Both are done in that business's own Settings, reached by switching to it in the business menu.

Changes

Updated terms are versioned, and a new version may have to be accepted before the authenticated application can be used again.
